Let April showers help you splash into spring. Our first play day will be a good season warm-up. Come and learn to play.

May 21, 2011 12 noon - 3 pm: Play Day

Begin your journey into horsemanship. What's a playday? How do I play with a horse? How do I learn to communicate with my equine partner? Start here!

June 2-3, 2011: Parelli Clinic

Join us at "Field of Dreams Farm" for an intermediate/advanced level one clinic with 3 star Parelli professional Gina Torrel. You'll explore all the levels of beginning "savvy" natural horsemanship. June 25, 2011 3 pm - 6 pm: Play Day

Review your skills of savvy. Practice and plan your routine to make your audition tape. Bring your issues, problems, ideas, and solutions.

July 30, 2011 3 pm - 6 pm: Play Day

Try some trail savvy. Let's play some games and obstacles on the trail. Learn to handle thresholds, water crossings, bridges, logs, and splash in the lake.

August 27, 2011 3 pm - 6 pm: Play Day

Let's video tape our play and set up our audition tapes for whatever level you are working on. If you are not working towards an audition, join us anyway and have fun with music and some dancing on horseback!

September 10 - 11, 2011 9 am - 6 pm Tara Jones Clinic

"Pieceful Solutions" Tara Jones, a certified trainer, will be at Majestic Meadow Stables to help us understand our equine partners from the ground to under saddle. Saturday will be riding instruction and Sunday will be handling issues, young or problem horses. You saw Tara in the trainer challenge at the Equine Extravaganza. September 24, 2011 12 noon - 3 pm Play Day

Wind down your season with some down home fun. Games on horseback after a good warm up. Then we'll try some square dancing moves and follow-the-leader to music.

October 8, 2011 10am - 5pm: Saddle Up For St. Jude's Children' Hospital Fun Show Benefit (Class List)

Grain bucket barrels, egg toss, musical ponies, pony express, catch & release, gambler's choice, joisting, western speed events, trail classes and a costume class, plus many other footraces and games, both mounted and non-mounted. All proceeds go to benefit "Kid's with Cancer." To date Majestic Meadow Stables' fun shows have raised over $1800 for cancer research and to benefit families with kid's with cancer. October 22, 2011 12 noon - 3 pm: Play Day

Our last hurrah for the year! Enjoy the play yard, ride the arena, or hit the trail -- all your call!.

Have Fun with our Open Barn Nights!!

Monday 7 pm - dark: Slow trail ride night, mostly walk, some trot.
Wednesday 7 pm - dark: Games, square dance on horseback, adding arrows to quivers, all put to music.
Friday 7 pm - dark: Fast working trail ride, warm up,walk, mostly trot, some canter/lope, hills, creeks, valleys & lakes.
Grounds fees are only $10 per horse/rider combo for these events. Fee waived for MMS boarders.
