What is Parelli "Natural Horse-Man-Ship"?
"Natural Horsemanship is a way to be with and teach horses using communication, psychology and understanding rather than mechanics, fear and intimidation." Pat Parelli
The Parelli system is a logical, safe and systematic plan that teaches people how to relate with horses and to teach them, to solve problems and to prevent problems, and to reach goals. "Horse-Man-Ship" is written this way to remind us that this program is about a horse and a human in a ship together on a journey towards a special relationship.
Play Days
"Play Days" are times set aside for people and their horses to gather together for learning, support and fun. They are held one Sunday of each month starting at noon with a short classroom/round table gathering followed by outdoor practice, fun and playtime.

What You'll Need
Your horse, its coggins, rope halter, carrot/friendly stick, 12' and/or 22' leads and a $15 ground's fee. Don't forget your saddle, saddle pad & helmet. Remember to dress for the weather; the arena and play yard are outdoors! You will have access to all facilities at Majestic Meadow Stables; 2 round pens, arena with obstacles, play yard, wash stall, and trails.

Parelli Clinics by Kelly Sigler
Kelly is the 2-star certified professional Parelli intructor who presented our level 1 clinic held at Majestic Meadow Stables, Novemeber, 2007. She will return in June and October, 2008, to present more Natural Horsemanship clinics.
June 17-22: Parelli Natural Horse-Man-Ship Clinic with Kelly Sigler. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings will be private sessions, or level assessments with Kelly. In the afternoons, Kelly will be running clinics with an emphasis on trail riding preparations and ending with trail rides. The beginner trail riders will culminate with a trail ride on Majestic Meadow Stables' trails. On Thursday the more advanced level 2 students will be taking their trail ride on a part of the Culpeper Heritage Horse Trail. This will include a tour of the Civil War home of Salubria.
October 11-12: Kelly Sigler returns for a two day Parelli Clinic. Saturday and Sunday mornings will be Begin Your Journey with Natural Horse-Man-Ship and the afternoon will be the level 2 more advanced work. Auditors are welcome and may be asked to participate by holding horses, etc.
