What is Parelli "Natural Horse-Man-Ship"?

"Natural Horsemanship is a way to be with and teach horses using communication, psychology and understanding rather than mechanics, fear and intimidation."             Pat Parelli

The Parelli system is a logical, safe and systematic plan that teaches people how to relate with horses and to teach them, to solve problems and to prevent problems, and to reach goals.  "Horse-Man-Ship" is written this way to remind us that this program is about a horse and a human in a ship together on a journey towards a special relationship.

Play Days

"Play Days" are times set aside for people and their horses to gather together for learning, support and fun.  They are held monthly on Saturdays.  They will start with a short round table discussion and then move onto the monthly subject followed by outdoor practice, fun and playtime.  Monthly subjests are listed on the schedule of events.
